GWR Cornwall England Railway Branch Session 6
GWR Cornwall England Railway Branch Session
Diesel and steam locomotives display (issue 6).
This is a session that features the Castle class series single and double stack steam locomotives.
The Castle class also known as the 4073 class locomotive had a wheel base configuration of 4-6-0, and were built between the years of 1923 to 1950, based on the GWR (Great Western Railway) design.
The locomotive was originally designed by the chief mechanical engineer, Charles Collett, and was painted in BR Brunswick Green liveries.
When introduced into service, the Castle class was one of Great Britain’s most successful and powerful express passenger locomotives built with an average operating track speed of 80 mph (129 km/h) and a top recorded speed of 108 mph (174 km/h).
Your task as a train controller is to observe and make sure that the trains arrive at their designated destination points.
Weather conditions, date and time can be changed by using the QuickDrive menu in driver mode.
