SP GS-4 Tender Daylight Prewar
The Southern Pacific GS-4 Class is a streamlined 4-8-4 Northern type Steam Locomotive. They were built by the Lima Locomotive Works and were numbered 4430-4457. The GS in GS-4 stands for Golden State or General Service. They were designed for high speed passenger service and are capable of running at sustained speeds of up to 110 mph. All Locomotives were scrapped, except 4449 which is now preserved and operational.
This is the Version of the Tender in the Daylight Paint before WWII, It has Southern Pacific Lines in Small Letters.
Running numbers made possible by using NumberIt by Eldavo.
