VR ABW car T1 - 1950s BG

VR ABW/ABU passenger car.
The ABW cars were built between 1911 and 1926. They were common on all intrastate trains untill the 1980s, when most were withdrawn. There are still a number in preservation. This model represents ABW cars 1-52 with the clerestory roof. These cars were reclassed to 'ABU' cars between 1961-1970, except ABW 1 which was scrapped in 1951.
