VR B Passenger Car - 6 wheel - Standard Gauge
This model represents a typical 6 wheel 'B' class second class passenger car of the Victorian Railways. Many carriages similar to this design operated on the Victorian Railways network from the 1850s up till the 1900s and 1910s (a small number survived longer). This model is based off the drawings for the earliest known design for the 'A' class first class cars, however has been relettered to represent a 'B' class second class car, and uses automatically assigned numbers based on the 'A' class carriage. This model has standard gauge wheelsets. It is in the later 'crimson lake' livery, although it's unlikely that many of these carriages operated in this livery.
