30 PBR D21 green livery

Puffing Billy D21 in the old green livery with working marker lights and cab with multiple views (non operating controls). The locomotive cmae from Tasmanian Government Railways where it was V12 built by Vulcan Foundry Ltd with parts supplied by the Drewry Car Company. The first two went into service in late 1948 as the first diesel locos on the Tasmanian system. In all eight British-built V Class came to the TGR (1-8) and a further two identical units went to the the Mt Lyell Mining and Railway Co on Tasmania's West coast. Four more units were built in the TGR's Launceston Workshop to a slightly updated design (9-12) and in 1963 the TGR acquired one of the two Mt Lyall units (becomming V13). Several of the locos had engine and gearbox changes and were redesignated type VA. This Trainz model is representative of the Tasmanian built units.
