VR 20ft Portable Building
The VR 'portable' was one of the more common, and varied, buildings on the VR system. It came in 20ft and 30ft lengths, with various door and window modifications and positions. It was also possible to join two together, giving varying other lengths as needed. They appeared at many brnachline stations, both as a station on their own or as an extra building on the platform. There are still a number around Victoria, in various uses and states.
This model is based off the building currently located at Belgrave outside the Puffing Billy booking office. It is painted in the cream and chocolate brown, with black line, colour scheme, with the door midway down the building and 3 windows.
