VR T Class Diesel Loco - Series 4 - modified
Build between 1964 and 1966, the 4th series T class locomotives were the first T class locos with a low short end hood, and was the last series of T class with the 567 series engine. The locos were designed primarily for long end running, but were able to be run short end leading. Since the mid 90s, many of the T class were sold to private operators, and have appeared in a large number of liveries to match. There have also been many modifications to the locos, including removal of staff exchanger holes, addition of bifuricated brake pipes, addition of mirrors, and more.
This model represents a S4 T class in VR livery in a modified condition, with builders plates and staff exchanger recesses removed. It also has an option to turn off the sub mesh, so as to remove the radio equipped stickers, mirrors, and extra VC bump on the cab roof. The model has a large number of scripted features from the AJS superscript as well as working backlit number boards and step lights at night, and scripted fuel consumption.
