VR 5 chime whistle sound - Y112
This sound is a 5 chime whistle as used by many steam locomotives on the Victorian Railways. This specific sound is of the 5 chime whistle currently fitted to Y112, and as such is best used on the Y class locomotives.

An 'alternate' whistle sound is available using the 'Bell' function. This whistle is a 3 part looped whistle, with two short 'pops' of the whistle on the end. A second whistle is available without these 'pops' for a shorter sound.

This sound is made from recordings by Daniel Handcock, taken on the 15th of August 2011 at Lal Lal ('bell' sound), and near Moorabool (main whistle).
