VR NA class single chime whistle.
This sound is a VR NA class whistle, as used on the 'NA' class narrow gauge 2-6-2T locomotives on the Victorian Railways. This specific sound is of the whistle fitted to 12A, recorded on departure from Menzies Creek, on the 2nd of January 2019.

This whistle is a 3 part looped whistle, with echo. The 'bell' sound is a typical level crossing whistle at Puffing Billy.
