vr K153 whistle 1 - 3 part
VR G class 5 chime whistle, recorded from K153.
This sound is a VR 5 chime whistle, as used on the 'K' class 2-8-0 light lines locomotives on the Victorian Railways, along with D3, A2, and many other locos. Recorded at the Victorian Goldfields Railway from locomotive K153.
This whistle is a 3 part looped whistle, with echo. The 'bell' sound is a short 'pop' of the whistle.
