The 9th Street Branch was a branch line that interchanged with the Fresno Subdivision to an Modesto & Empire Traction Company interchange. This route represents it in circa 1999. Sadly, in 2001, the branch line was demolished. Some areas still contain a crossbuck. This route contained mostly just crossbucks than a conventional RR crossing signal.

This route is a RAILFANNING ONLY route! It is not that long due to not many photographs and info on it. There is a DVD avalible for purchase online recapping streetrunning in different areas, including the 9th street branch.
