CSX Henderson Sub
Welcome to the South (Somewhat). The CSX Henderson Sub is the former L&N Nashville Line. It runs from Howell Yard in Evansville, Indiana to Amqui Junction near Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The line interchanges with the Paducah & Louisville Railroad in Madisonville, Kentucky and the RJ Corman Railroad in Gunthrie, Kentucky. The line has some interesting areas such as the Urlington Cut-Off and the massive bridge over the Ohio River and the Ohio River Approach. There is also Baker Tunnel, and many bridges such as the Gumlick Trestle. The CSX Texas Line starts-off from the Henderson Sub in Henderson, Kentucky. CSX runs about 25 trains a-day thru the Henderson Sub and many locals, too. The Sub is mostly single track with many passing sidings. Springfeild and Hopkinsville, Kentucky have large Grain Plants and are served by CSX once every week. Most trains on the Henderson Sub are grain and mixed traffic trains. NOTE: Requires USTrainz.com's Laying Ties and TrainzProRoute's CSX Defect Detector 2. Sessions Require USTrainz's CSX SD70ACe, 50ft American and Western Boxcar, and 60ft KELX Boxcar Packs, Protrainz's CSX AC4400CW Packs, Trainzproroute's Autoracks and TTX Well Car Pack.
