Welcome to the heart of the Midwest! This is the CSX Saginaw Sub that is the beating heart of CSX in Detroit, Michigan. The CSX Saginaw Sub runs from Plymouth to Carleton, Michigan. The route crosses the CSX Plymouth Sub that becomes the CSX Detroit Sub. The Plymouth and Detroit Sub of CSX have trackage rights with CP Rail. The route includes the NS Michigan Line in Wayne. There is New Boston Rail Service that runs two yards along the Saginaw Sub in New Boston, Michigan and there is the Kelsy Hays Branch. The Saginaw Sub see's 25 CSX trains and 1 CP Train crossing the sub in Plymouth and there are many locals, too. A few times a week a BNSF Coal Train from Wyoming comes from the south or west on to the Saginaw Sub north to Flint through Plymouth. The main frieght is autoracks due to it serves the Wayne Ford Plant. Many Coke Expresses run on the CSX Saginaw Sub onto the Detroit Sub to serve the Rouge Steel Plant in Dearborn.
