Conrail Lincoln Secondary

The Motor City: Snow, dirt, cold air, and weeds. Home of the Conrail Lincoln Secondary. It runs from Lincoln Park to Carleton, Michigan; Joining onto the CSX Saginaw Sub south to Toledo, Ohio. CSX uses this line for all of it's intermodal and two mixed freight trains from Toledo to Detroit bypassing the CSX Saginaw Sub through Plymouth. Today Conrail shared assets runs the locals on the line with Conrail, CSX, or NS locomotives to various industries like Guardian Glass Company, Fritz Interprises, and Ford Brownstown Parts Redistribution Center. Most of the local operations originate out of Lincoln Park Yard and return there. Get your jacket and gloves and go out there and work!
