PCC atac Tram

In the 1950s the urban tram operator of Rome decided to buy new 4-axle trams to replace old rolling stock. Only 20 PCC cars were delivered in 1957-1958 from OM because the politicians wanted to close a big part of the network. During the following years, they received numerous refurbishments, were painted from two-tone-green to orange...
In 2003, the last PCC traveled through the streets of Rome. None of them has been preserved :-(
