LT Metrovic Bo-Bo

Metropolitan Vickers Bo-Bo electric loco, built in 1922/23 by the Metropolitan Railway and used to haul commuter trains, mainly between Rickmansworth and the City of London. Inherited by London Transport on its formation in 1933 these locos remained in passenger use on the Metropitan line until 1961. Two of the original twenty examples have been preserved, No. 12 Sarah Siddons remains in running order.
