History:
Caboose number 6 was built in January 1871 by the Virginia & Truckee in their Virginia City Shops.
Originally numbered either No. 3 or No. 4, it was renumbered to No. 6 in 1872 when the 4 Kimball cars were received.
This model represents how the car may have looked in the mid-1870s.
