V & T loco no 4 (Virginia) - as built
Virginia & Truckee #4 ('Virginia') as she might have appeared fresh from Baldwin in 1869.
'Virginia' was one of six 2-6-0's built by Baldwin Locomotive Works from 1869 through 1870 for the Virginia & Truckee Railroad.
She was used as the Virginia City switch engine from 1869 to 1900. In 1910, she was retired to the Carson City enginehouse, and eas scrapped in 1918.
In 1926, she was scrapped.
