IOW Summer Service to Ventnor (Drive)

A ferry full with holiday makers has just arrived at Ryde Pier Head. To carry the crowds two trains depart Ryde Pier Head within a few minutes of one another. You are in charge of the second of these, the 12:50 service from Ryde Pier Head to Ventnor. You then run around the train and have a short break before working the 14:05 train back to Ryde Pier Head
.
It is the start of the busy summer season so it is important to stay on time, in order to avoid causing delays.

NOTE: Keeping to time using the Class O2 is very challenging. You could switch to another class of loco but it must be given exactly the same name in order for the session to operate correctly. You could also reduce the train to 4 coaches.

This session is based upon the real 1936 Working Timetable. I have replicated every service shown on this document as accurately as I can, although I have had to use guesswork in a few places. It is a good demonstration of just how hectic the island's railways were at their peak!
