H&LoBRy Coach No 5
Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway 42 in gauge 30 foot coach. Based on diagrams in (Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette Jan/Feb 2000) and photos in (By Steam Boat and Steam Train) by Niall MacKay (Boston Mills Press). Built in 1894 for the Toronto Railway Company, this open-air coach was purchased by the H&LoB Railway in the 1930s. It has been preserved and is in use today at the Muskoka Heritage Place in Huntsville, Ontario. The link & pin couplers are approximations of the actual couplers which used two pins and a drawbar.
