NSWR KF Wagon 7257

KF Wagon of NSWR.

The KF flat wagon was a conversion of K wagons started during the early part of WW2 these conversions were started due to altered traffic patterns, these were coded KF the first one was completed in Feburary 1942 it was numbered 7257.

Later on in May 1946 some KF wagons were altered back to K wagons, by january 1948 though only 100 KF wagons were in service but in September 1955 a number of U & K and other altered wagons were convered to the KF wagon.
