GWR Class 1361 Saddle Tank
The class 1361 was built to replace an old Sharp designed absorbed loco, GWR No 1395, which looks virtually identical at a glance.
A total of 5 were build. With their 11' wheelbase they were designed to get round tight curves found at docks.
Most of the class were used in Plymouth and other docks in the South west, they found their way to other parts of the network in later years and into BR days.
