AF cable transporter
All large mining equipment used in German lignite mining is electrically powered. Motile equipment like excavators are connected with a stationary power source by insulated cables, which are trailing behind. Lenght of cable not immediately needed are stored on drums, which may be attached to the lower works of the excavator. This is the case e.g. with small and medium sized excavators running on crawlers. With big machines running on rails, larger cables and drums are needed, which are carried on separate railcars.

VE48: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 3.5 are no longer supported.
VE39: The texture 'kabelwagen/afb_grau.tga' is a uniform color.
VE109: The low-detail meshes total more than 500 polygons. This may have a negative impact on performance: 0: 3252
