ECML Freightliner Edinburgh - Berwick

Based on the Freightliner session that comes with TANE, this is a shortened version, though it is harder to score maximum ranking points. You will only be driving from Edinburgh to Berwick, which if you keep to time, should take about 95minutes. You will take the controls of a pair of Class 47's in charge of a typical rake of 10 loaded freightliner wagons at the Edinburgh terminal bound ultimately for London. You are expected to maintain over the 55miles an average of 35mph.

A perfect score would be 1650, an average score would be 1000. Anything less and you need to try again. There is cosiderable congestion and you will be following some slow traffic which may well make you late and spoil your ranking. Apart from departure and arrival, there are five timed check points which will contribute to your ranking. [200 ranking points for being early, 100 for being on time and deduction for being late.] Each session driven will be slightly different.
