SF NCC wagon 4200
NCC 8 ton capacity ballast wagon no 4200 used on the Co. Antrim freight workings. Three foot gauge, ex-Cushendall, Ballymena and Red Bay Railway. One of the 250+ mineral wagons taken over by the Belfast and Northern Counties Railway when it absorbed the BC&RBR and the Ballymena and Larne Railway. Subsequently, the B&NCR was taken over by the Midland Railway of Britain, becoming the MR(NCC) and, after the 1923 grouping, the LMS(NCC). Set to accept bulk loads, primarily ballast, or two small mesh loads or one ordinary mesh load. Based on LMS(NCC) diagram 15.
