SF NCC brake van 4247

NCC brake van no 4247 used on the Co. Antrim freight workings. Three foot gauge, ex-Cushendall, Ballymena and Red Bay Railway. One of the 250+ wagons taken over by the Belfast and Northern Counties Railway when it absorbed the BC&RBR and the Ballymena and Larne Railway. Subsequently, the B&NCR was taken over by the Midland Railway of Britain, becoming the MR(NCC) and, after the 1923 grouping, the LMS(NCC). Set to accept a single mesh load.
