PKP_Bhix_Bauart30_St.Legnica

Former DRG C4i-36 eilzugwagen. Light 4-axle non-compartment passenger coach of 3rd class designed for fast suburban service. After 1945 a number of DRG coaches remained outside and were taken over by other European railway operators such as PKP, CSD, SNCF, FS or OBB. Several C4i-36 coaches re-entered service as Chix 3rd class coaches on PKP. In 1956 all were reclassified to 2nd class as Bhix. Some remained in service until the late 1970s. UIC numbering was added in 1968. This model represents a Bauart36 Bhix car from Opole depot around 1975. TRS2004+
