PKP Zhx Bauart 42 St.Hajnowka

PKP Zhx heting car. Cars of this kind were built in the years 1931-1942 by the german Gorlitz factory for DRG services. They were designed especially for heating passenger trains where the locomotive did not have the ability to do this. Several of those cars, know as Bauart 42 in Germany were taken over by PKP after WW2 and used till the early 80s with some passenger trains.
