PKP Bhxz Bauart22 St.Lublin

PKP Bhxz 2nd class passenger coach, the so called HECHT type. This car was originally a german DRG C4u coach #16 086 built in 1924 by Waggonfabrik H.Fuchs in Heidelberg for express trains in Germany. After World War 2 many coaches stayed outside of their countries and were later used by new owners. This car and a second Hecht stayed in Poland where both were used by PKP as Chxz class till 1956. After that they were re-classed to 2nd class as Bhxz and with a new PKP number 19245 served was used Lublin depot till 1968 when it was scrapped. The model represents PKP paintscheme used after 1956.
