PKP Dhxzt 201C St.Toruń

The 201C class was the last of the baggage cars designed in Poland before the new 111A line was introduced. In 1961 PaFaWag Wroclaw built 13 units of this type and PKP gave them the Dhxzt symbol, for wider side doors. The 201C contained the train managers room and a 12.000kg weight capable baggage space. The baggage cars were a normal sight with any passenger train in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s or 1980s, so the 201C was a usual view on many lines. They were the last of the cars designed on the 1A carbody to be taken out of service. Some were still used in the late 1980s. One of these cars was renewed in late 2006 and became a part of the Chabowka rail museum, in working condition of course.
