PKP_Bhxz_Bauart36_St.Zagorz

In 1945 Polish State Railways inherited a large group of foreign railway rolling stock. Native fleet of passenger coaches was mostly lost or damaged to long repairs. Former DRG coaches became primary passenger rolling stock in the 1940s and 1950s before native passenger coach designs were released. Pre-war coaches were moved to secondary service as the modern stock arrived in regular revenue. Nobody in the 1940s however imagined how long will some pre-war coaches remain in use. Among the fleet of former German coaches was a group of ex-C4u-36 eilzugwagens, light construction coaches for fast passenger service. This model represents a coach of this type, classified as Bhxz on PKP, that was still in service in 1982, Zagorz depot, south-eastern Poland. 3d by kilanziom, photos by kilanziom, textures by kilanziom, script by Qcyk85.
