VR Type 'A' Station - Koondrook

This is a faithful replica of the VR Type 'A' Station that still stands proudly , albeit no longer in use and attached to an otherwise dismantled line, in the country town of Koondrook in Northern Central Victoria (on the Murray River). The station served the terminus of the branch line from Kerang to Koondrook and is unique amongst structures of this type being a remnant of the original ''Kerang & Koondrook Tramway'', an otherwise independant run railway (by the Kerang Shire Council) from it's inception in 1897 until it was absorbed into the Victorian Railways, officially, in 1958 (the VR eventually abandoning the line in 1981). Because this asset comes complete with it's own 'built-in' platform, which, itself, is a remnant of the ''Tramway'', as per the prototype, it is 'Passenger Enabled', utilising a number of the Bloodnok scripts (supplied with this asset's kuid-table) to control the stopping of trains at the statiion. In line with the prototype, the asset is not provided with any typical VR country station nameboards (which is unusual, in itself) but the excellent alternative VR Nameboards created by S301 may be used if it is desired to provide a name in game. This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
