VR Type 'I' Water Tower - 1b

This is a model of a typical, VR 'I' Type, all steel Water Tower with the maximum capacity for the type of 10,000 gallons, only. Although similar to the Type 'A' in appearance, the design of these tanks, which utilises only 6 cast iron posts for support (as opposed to the 10 used in the Type 'A' design), as well as their maximum capacity of 10,000 gallons, distinguish them from their sisters. This model is textured to represent a relatively 'older' (slightly faded) installation that was originally painted in the VR's Silver scheme. These units were located throughout the state of Victoria and used primarily at small to medium terminal locations and locomotive depots, where the larger 20,000 gallon, Type 'A' Towers (available separately by the same author) would have been ''inappropriate''. The model is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
