VR Type 'C' Water Tower - 1b

This is the second of two variations of the VR Type 'C' Water Tower., which were capable of holding up to 20,000 gallons [90,000 litres]. This design of Water Tower was intended for use 'standing' on a platform but they also saw service at ground level. To allow both situations in game, the model has additional 'material' below ground level to accomodate uneven ground and needs to be manually raised to 'function' on a platform. As a water storage tower only, these designs (the Type 'C' Towers), like the Types 'A' and 'B', are meant to be used in conjunction with the trackside located ''VR Water Column Type 'C' '' (as created by S301) and as such, should only be used in medium to large Locomotive Depots or larger stations. It should be noted that this unit was based on the extant, albeit decommissioned, Water Tower that stands on the Up end of the Up platform at Kyneton and like its prototype, has the Lamp Room provided beneath the tank (this was a common practise for this design of tank, especially the ones clad in bluestone that were located on platforms). The model is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
