VR I Tmbr 7T W & S - 1860

Victorian Railways 7 Ton I Wagon was constructed in 1859-65 from Timber with Iron Braces bolted with a drop down door which seems to be standard to that era. These wagons lasted to 1904 due to their age and they couldn't be fitted with airbrakes, only through brakepipe was fitted from 1890s.

This model represent the wagon built by Wright & Sons 1860 through to 1865 with a rather unique axle box that where built during that time and had sheet metal to brace the timber so it can hold 8 Tons rather than 7 tons and has prototypical running numbers, the alpha numbers are from Zec's T4 M Wagon.
