Enamel Sign Woodbines

An enamelled sign advertising Woodbine cigarettes, suitable for use from about 1930 onward. These signs were once a common sight on Britain's railways, and examples are still to be seen on preserved railways to this day. This sign is rather weathered and is rusting in several places.

Texture based on a photograph taken by the author in August 2006 at the former Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway station at Weybourne (now preserved as part of The Poppy Line, also known as the North Norfolk Railway).
