OW FT A

The EMD FT was the diesel that doomed the steam locomotive. Soled as ether a AB or ABA set with a semipermantly coupled drawbar. Each unit had 1,350hp. This is the GM demo A it ran as an ABBA set for 11 months on 20 railroads for 83,764 miles

This is a reskin into the colors of the New York Ontario & Western the first Class I railroad to entirely cease operation in March of 1957. This railroad had lines in New York, and Pennsylvania and hauled heavy traffic between the Lehigh Valley at Scranton, PA and the New Haven Railroad at Maybrook, NY
