WP&Y_Glacier_Pipe_Conduit

This unusual wooden structure carries the pipe from the pump house to the water tank
at Glacier. The pipe is enclosed to keep the water inside freezing in the winter.
There was most likely provision to keep the water running even when the tank was full
though at a lower flow rate. This would also keep it from freezing. This is not an
unusual set up in Alaska.
