Sikorsky_Bridge
This 4-lane divided highway bridge connects Stratford to Millford, CT crossing the
Housatonic River and the Naugatuck branch of the New Haven Railroad. It carries the
Merritt Parkway (CT Route 15). Built in 1940 it was demolished in 2004. It is
unusual in that it has a steel mesh deck (all 1800 feet of it).
