Bahia Honda Bridge 1

This is the Bahia Honda Bridge on The Florida East Coast Railroads Key West extension
as originally built. It connects Bahia Honda Key and West Summerland Key #1. Through trusses were used
due to the water depth (30+ ft) and strong currents. It consists of thirteen 128.5 ft spans, thirteen 186 ft
spans, and one 248 ft span. The 248 ft span is on the West Summerland Key #1 end.
