FEC Arch Spline 1A

This is a single track concrete spandrel arch spline based on one of the two different
designs used on the Key West Extension of the Florida East Coast Railroad. This version has 50 ft wide openings.
Every 5th support pier was larger for strength. These were eventually converted to road bridges. Some still exist
today as fishing piers.
