Bear River Trestle
This is the combination trestle and howe deck truss span over the Bear River
on the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad. Built around 1875 it was partially destroyed by fire
in 1896 and replaced by a steel structure (about 4 miles away) in 1908.
