It’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon and four locomotives will be racing in the biggest race in a century! Four locomotives will be racing in a race of speed and power! The first part of the race is about speed. Four locomotives will be racing over rivers, through woods, and then through mountains. And then the locomotives must make it down Dead Man’s Drop to get to the finish. Locomotives must make it down Dead Man’s Drop without derailing. Once all four locomotives make it down and make it to finish (if they did), the will be turn around and couple up to ten Pullman cars and a caboose and back up to finish. Once set the second half of the race will be about strength. The four locomotive must make it back up Dead Man’s Drop to reach the start, without helper engines. If a locomotive can’t make the climb over Dead Man’s Drop, they will be placed one behind the last locomotive that did make it back to Dead Man’s Drop. If more than one locomotive can’t make it the climb, then the locomotive that made the furthest up will be placed one behind the last locomotive that finished the race. Good Luck!
