South Eastern Tar Tank Wagon

South Eastern Tar rectangular tank Wagon. Built in the 1880s for carrying tar, a bye-product of gas works to processing plants. Suitable for use in the South East of Britain. Similar wagons continued in general use into the 1940s and into the 1970s as internal user wagons at Gas Works and chemical plants. It has working BlueStar couplers.
