Yorks & Lincs Tar Tank Wagon

Yorkshire & Lincolnshire rectangular tank Wagon. Built in the 1880s for carrying tar and other bye-products of gas works to chemical plants. Suitable for use in the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. Similar wagons continued in general use into the 1940s and into the 1970s as internal user wagons at Gas Works and chemical plants. It has working BlueStar couplers.
