Goulburn Crookwell Taralga Revised
This is a re-creation from topographic maps of the railway from Goulbutn in Southern NSW to Crookwell via Roslyn and the Branch Line to Taralga from Roslyn. It features a full layout of the yards and roundhouse at Goulburn, Australia's first inland City.
The line was planeed as early as 1857. There was a start to construction in 1899 and it opened in 1902. The line to Taralga opened in 1926 and closed in 1957. The Crookwell line closed in 1984 but the restoration of the line as a Heritage lline iis now under way. The main traffic was Passenger in two rail motor return trips each way. Goods traffic was livestock , general goods and superphosphate
