Lilydale to Healesville & Warburton
The layout depicts the Line to Lilydale before it was electrified. The line from Lilydale to Yarra Glen eas opened in 1999. It was extended to Healesville in 1889 via a 154-metre tunnel. The line from Lilydale to Warburton was opened in 1901 and extended 37-km. It was proposed initially as narrow gauge but constructed in groad gauge.
Se veral; timber tramways were constructed from the broad gauge line. Three are shown. at Yarra Junction to Powelltown which had passenger and freight services, Richards Timberway at Wesburn and Warburton's Federal tramway. All 3 tramways were 3 foot gauge. The Powelltown Tramway ran from 1913-1945.
The Healesville Line is gradually being re-opened from Healesville to Yarra Glen by the Yarra Valley Tourist Railway. The various Yards are shown as they were in 1925.
