Camden
The line from Campbelltown to Camden was opened in 1992 and closed in 1961. In its begining it was operated as a tramway. It was built to service agriculture in the Camden area and also served the Coal mining industry in the area with a coal loader at Narellan. There was a very steep gradient at Kenny Hill, 1:20 down from Campbelltown and 1:19 up from Camden. This was the steepest gradient on a railway in NSW. Like its neighb our line at Kurrajong, the train on the line was called 'Pansy'.
