WHITE PASS & Y R 17th may HD FF

The WHite Pass & Yukon Railroad from Skagway to White Horse. The Main stops on route are :- Fraser, Bennett, Carr Cross(Carriboo Crossing) and White Horse.
The route is almost acurate and is to scale.

The section from Carr Cross to White Horse is no longer in use, but most of the track is still in place.
All of the road crossings are still in place. The track in White Horse isclassed as a heritage monument and is well looked after. The station is still in existance. A self powered tramcar ran on a short length of track up until recently.

Some of the Sceanery is impossible to recreate due limitations of the program. i.e. on the route from skagway to the Summit (Border) sections of the track areonly 2 to3 ft from thecliff edge and it would be possible to touch the shear rock cliff face on the other side (NOT RECOMENDED while the train is moving). There are also places where the rock overhangs the track.

The best way to see this route is to acctualy ride on it. A wonderful experience.
