Makatote Viaduct Dual Track 42in

A spline model of the Makatote rail viaduct in New Zealand. Modified to 42in track by Bill69 with permission.

The 3rd highest railway viaduct in New Zealand is about 10 km south of National Park on the North Island Main Trunk Line. The viaduct is of steel girder construction, is 262 m long and was opened in 1908. The bridge is single track but the model is for a dual track bridge with a maximum height of 80 metres.

Once installed you will find the model as Makatote Truss bridge under track splines in the New Zealand listing. Modified to 42in track by Bill69 with Vulcan's permission
